How are you starting your mornings off? There’s a saying how you start your mornings will determine how your day will be. From my own personal experience I can say that is true. Days I started off on the wrong side of the bed as they say, I continued to feel like nothing went right. We know things happen out of our control. My daily motto is “ I cannot worry about things I have no control over”. There is 24 hours in one single day, that is an extremely long time to worry about something I have no control over. Have you ever taken the day off to get somethings done and the time gets away from you quickly? Now think about the days when you take off because your not feeling well and want to rest. Those days we sit in idle time are the longest days compared to the others.
Each morning you are blessed with life you should spend time with God? Each passing day is not promised. We wake up each morning in a hurry and often unprepared. When we are unprepared that alone will have an affect on your mental health. When your unprepared you end up being late. Being late causes emotional feelings that can end turn in to anger and lead to road rage. One thing after another after another. Here’s when I tell you Get Out Of Your Own Way! The enemy is always busy and catch us when we are not paying attention. There’s a saying “Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready”. Spending your mornings with God will indeed help set the tone for your day. Begin with a morning prayer followed by praise and worship through songs. Feeding your spirit with God‘s words daily prepare you for the battlefield of life. Each day we are in a war between good , evil, flesh and spirit. Your flesh alone is not equipped to handle the war. Once you realize in this war we win in the end because the fight is fixed you become self contained.
Isaiah 54:17 says “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord”. This is your reminder that we are nothing without God and he wants to be included in our everyday life. Allow him to lead, guide and protect you as you go throughout your day. We were born with the free will to do as we please, the choice is ours. Just as easy as it is to do wrong we can easily make the choice to do what is right.
